Bruegger`s in Avon

I was kind of surprised to see the negative reviews for this shop! I've been going there for years and years both for myself and business affairs. The people have always been friendly and treated me fairly. I just felt compelled to put in my two cents..

Nice tucked in the corner of place

Staff is rude. I understand they are kids but management should be watching them closer.

Excellent bagels/fixings & coffee!

They make amazing bagels and hot chocolate. If you go and the hot drink you order tastes watery tell them and they'll fix it.

My most favorite bagels. Reason for 4 star is their service. Always slow. Not the most friendly staff and understaffed at their busiest time

This place just got boosted on my list for now carrying vegan cream cheese. The bagels are good. I the coffee is good. I tend to lean towards LOx, Stocks for bagels locally (because of their superior smears), but Breuggers is always in rotation. I appreciate any place that will cater to diverse dietary needs, and I'm glad I can bring my vegan family members here.

Nothing special. The food is assembled without care. Hamburger halfway off the bagel. The burger is not cooked to preference but just warmed through until dark grey. I guess it okay for a quick snack.

Mike is the best manager I've seen in a while....always funny and willing to help.

Food is very good, the reason I rate at 3 stars is because the staff is very unfriendly and unprofessional. Customer service is an important part of the experience, it's a shame the owner/managers don't enforce and least a thank you to the customer.

Not what it used to be. Undersized bagel with almost no topping. Off flavor cream cheese pairs well with dimissive service.

Good food

Horrible service from a rude and unprofessional barista. She unfairly projected her grievance with a rude guest whom she engaged with onto me. The manager did nothing to pacify my complaint. Instead she passive aggressively cut me off while I tried to explain how it made me feel. Thankful the cashier was a sweet individual and apologized as he realized I was an innocent bystander who unfairly received a rude and unfair reception resulting in humiliation. I would never patronize that location.

Little slow but good

bagels are subpar-often hard/stale. employees seem to hate their lives and they make sure the customer knows it. one lady in particular always has something snappy to say. brookside in simsbury is way better.

Nice options for breakfast and brunch. Good coffee. Great to make a pit stop when you're hungry for a snack.

Good food, was only person in store but it still took over 10min for a salad and a bagel.

The bagels are the best around. Personnel changes frequently, which indicates difficult management. Management needs to learn that good people are hard to find, so the one's you that are good, treat them right.

These are the closest to New York bagels I've had in Connecticut. Also, the people who take your orders are always personable

No better way to jump start your morning like Bruegger's. I wish there was one in the area I moved to.

Always super friendly people working there and tasty food!All food is made to order, so this is not a very fast place, but the wait is worth it.They have breakfast and lunch options, coffee, juice, and water. There are several tables if you want to dine in, or you can get your food to go. The bathrooms here are usually clean, too!

Staff was nice.. sandwich tasted good. Have to say that the bagels were unimpressive. Wouldn't come back here expecting or hoping for a quality bagel experience. Very chewy. Reminded me of stop and shop bagels. Not bad but not exceptional in anyway either

The food was absolutely delicious. Nonetheless as a first time guest, the experince was horrible. The guy who made my food wasn't DIVERSE at ALL - typical white person.

Literally closed 15 min early........... why say you close at 4p if you’re not going to be open until then

Great bagels. I love their iced coffee. They get slammed with people on the weekends and run out of flavors quickly.

Whenever my wife and I come to visit this is the place she asks to go. Hot, fresh, bagels on Saturday morning. They have some weird flavors. My favorite is their pimento olive cream cheese.

This location of Beugers Bagels has shaped my life in such a way that I am uncertain who I would be without it. The friends who have worked here, the seasonal bagels, and the fact that each bite feels like the first makes this one of the most important stores to me. I love you dearest bagel place.

The new skinny sandwich was awesome. Nice staff and a clean location. Even the bathroom was decent.

It was odd, while ordering beagles and coffee a staff member returned from a food run with coffee for everyone from Dunkin donuts! I was confused and questioned my life choices to witness this blasphemy.

It opens early, nice place to pick up fresh bagels for morning gatherings. My men's group LOVES them!

Godd bagels and sandwiches, good service, good location. Not just a breakfast place. Good for lunch as well.
